Sweet, Hot & Sassy

Mary's acclaimed all-woman acoustic swing band. Performing throughout New England from 1987 to 1995, the original trio gained a large following due to their eloquent delivery of swing and folk songs performed using tight three-part vocal harmonies with delightful warmth and humor.  The original Sweet, Hot & Sassy released three albums including Sweet, Hot & Sassy!,  “Live at the Folkway” and a holiday album titled “Swinging ‘Round the Christmas Tree”.  Sweet, Red, Hot & Sassy continued to perform until 1999, releasing yet another album, “Too Hot for Words”. Please check the Mary Maguire schedule page for a list of upcoming Sweet, Hot & Sassy performances.
